The NRA made the announcement this week, and the winners will be honored at reception in their honor during the 2007 NRA annual meeting, April 12-17 in St. Louis.
The editors of the NRA's Shooting Illustrated magazine, their newsstand monthly publication, selected Savage's Model 12 Long Range Precision Varminter as Rifle of the Year.
