When Team Savage shooters arrived at their first 1000-yard shooting competition with factory Savage rifles in 2006, they had to bear a lot of snickers from fellow competitors. As it turns out, the joke has been on those shooting custom rifles costing thousands of dollars more. The team has proven time and time again in the last two years that the new Savage long-range target rifles are not just beginner guns. They are made to compete and win against custom rifles -- and they do. Today Savage is still the only factory offering in the 1000-yad disciplines of F-Class and F T/R, so if you want to play, your only options are to go Savage, go custom or go home.

In a very short period of time, Team Savage has racked up quite an impressive resume that includes eleven national records and a long list of trophies and medals, with podium finishes at nearly every event they enter. In fact, we’re not even sure the list below is complete because they have won so much it is hard to keep track of it all:
