Jeff grew up fishing with his father and grandfather in Southeastern Michigan. He didn’t get into hunting until after high school, but after taking up duck hunting on a whim, he quickly developed his skills on a variety of hunts including the usual deer, turkey, and rabbit hunting that is so common in Michigan. He has, however, quickly developed a strange knack for hunts that you can only find by leaving the Midwest, like catching python by hand in the Florida Everglades and spearfishing while free diving in Hawaii.
During his downtime at home, Jeff is happily married and raises his own chickens, turkeys, and chukar. Jeff is a great resource for the audience as he is usually learning right along with them, providing a voice for people starting their own hunting journey and asking questions to help clarify complicated topics. Jeff also provides support behind the scenes, handling day-to-day office support, including outreach for future episodes, website development, and research.
