Crush Kitchen: Wild Game Ravioli Lasagna

Welcome to the Crush Kitchen! Wild Game Ravioli Lasagna is a tasty recipe for any ground wild game in your freezer!

Ingredients

  • Three Packages of Fresh or Frozen Ravioli (any type filling you prefer - we used standard cheese)
  • One Jar Pasta Sauce 
  • One Pound Ground Wild game (venison, elk, turkey, etc)
  • 2 tablespoons butter, diced garlic & onion
  • One Bag Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400.
  2. Spray a 9x13 baking dish with cooking spray.
  3. On medium high heat, melt butter in a saute pan and add garlic and onion and saute until soft.
  4. Add ground wild game and saute until browned. Set aside.
  5. Add a thin layer of sauce to the baking sheet.
  6. Spread a single layer of ravioli on top of the sauce.
  7. Add a layer of ground wild game.
  8. Add another layer of sauce, covering the ravioli & meat completely.
  9. Add a layer of mozzarella cheese
  10. Repeat this process until you've reached the top of your pan.
  11. Sprinkle the top with mozzarella and parmesan cheese.
  12. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 30 min at 400 degrees.
  13. Remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes or until cheese is bubbly and golden.
  14. Remove from oven and let set for 15 minutes.
  15. Serve with a salad, garlic bread and Enjoy!
