With freezers full of elk, venison, wild turkey, duck and more, the Savage team is always looking for recipes to modify with a wild game twist. This Elk Hamburger Helper recipe is heavily influenced by Half Baked Harvest’s Healthier Homemade One Pot Hamburger Helper recipe with ground elk substituted for ground beef. This elk recipe is packed full of flavor and is perfect for anyone who likes to measure with their heart! Use the ingredients that you have in your pantry and swap around what you need to.

Like the classic boxed Hamburger Helper, this recipe is a one-pot dinner and extremely easy to prepare. Since it’s homemade, it’s healthier and has a richer flavor.
