April 20, 2023 - WESTFIELD, Massachusetts - April 20, 2023 - Savage Arms proudly introduces its own versatile camo pattern, Woodland. Attendees at the 152nd Annual NRA Meetings & Exhibits in Indianapolis, Indiana from April 14-16 got the first look and its available now on the IMPULSE Big Game and 110 Ultralite Camo. Both rifles are mainstays in the Backcountry Xtreme Series and continue to showcase the AccuTrigger in its 20th year on the market. 

Savage Woodland camouflage helps hunters close the distance. The breakthrough design specifically for Savage utilizes natural colors and shapes digitally enhanced to provide the ultimate in concealment at all ranges. The versatile mix of tans, browns and greens blends seamlessly into a variety of terrains. Savage Woodland hides hunters effectively in different cover-from hardwoods to grasslands, and even deep into the mountains. 

The IMPULSE Big Game is Savage’s original StraightPull model. Since its introduction, several other models for hunting and competition have been released due to the popularity in the American and international markets. Bringing Savage’s own Woodland camouflage was a decision driven by customers. Savage received consistent feedback that hunters preferred a pattern that performed best in the field as opposed to one brand or one pattern.

The 110 Ultralite is designed to combat elevation and elements while maintaining the performance of a factory blueprinted Savage 110 action. The carbon fiber wrapped stainless steel barrel and melonite skeletonized receiver minimize weight for success on any mountain hunt. The rifle comes equipped with Savage’s AccuFit™ technology with adjustable length-of-pull and comb height to provide hunters with optimum fit and performance. This new extension features a Savage Woodland camo for the ultimate concealment. The user-adjustable AccuTrigger™ allows crisp, clean shots to close out successful hunts.
