We know what it takes to put rounds on target. It's a skill that's crucial to successful hunting, target and competitive shooting. We're joining hunters and shooters across the country to chronicle the unexpected twists that keep them coming back for more. Savage Journeys is the story of hunters and shooters who never quit, allow their boots to carry them over the next ridge, and never lose sight of their targets.

“Savage makes the best possible tools for American hunters and shooters,” said Beth Shimanski, Director of Marketing at Savage Arms. “From the button-rifled barrels on our Axis rifles, to the proven lethality of Renegauge, Savage has proven itself in the field and on the range. And now we’re out to capture more—the faces and places of American hunting and shooting—and we’re bringing it to you in Savage Journeys.”

Savage Journeys celebrates who never quit, allow their boots to carry them over the next ridge, and never lose sight of their targets.

Every sportsman, even those with years of backcountry success, tackles unexpected challenges while hunting. Every shooter strives for accurate shots, better times, and higher scores to beat their competitors and raise the bar on their personal best. This is what makes a lifetime of hunting and shooting such an incredible journey.  We're out to capture the experiences of new and seasoned hunters and shooters on the road less traveled as they embrace the unknown and face the unforeseen challenges inherent in their disciplines.

We're documenting several hunters and shooters as they pursue wild game and the leaderboard across a wide swath of the American landscape. These unscripted events will showcase the hunting highlights, but they’ll also capture the hard work and determination needed to make it into, and out of, the woods.

From the field-to-fork pursuit of Kansas whitetail and Wyoming antelope, to the predator calls of the Arizona desert, Savage is there.  From the rigors of multi-gun competitions, to the ruthless Mexican landscape where the bison roam, Savage rifles do their part. But that’s only half of the experience.  Follow Savage Journeys to see the rest.
