Installation

WARNING! Always keep the muzzle pointed in a safe direction. Make sure your firearm is completely unloaded and ensure that your workspace is void of ammunition at all times. The safety should be set to the Full Safe position. Safety glasses should be worn.

  1. Place the safety selector into the full safe position.

  2. Remove the magazine and open the bolt.

  3. With the firearm upside down use a 5/32” hex wrench to remove the two action screws.

  4. Detach the stock from the barreled action.

  5. Locate the pilot hole located between the recoil lug and the front sling swivel

  1. Using a 5/32 drill bit drill a hole through the stock using the pilot hole in the barrel channel as a guide.

  1. Thread your sling stud into the underside of the stock using a punch or similar tool to tighten the sling stud until fully threaded and the holes in the sling stud are perpendicular to the stock. (To make threading the sling stud easier it may be helpful to put a slight chamfer on the hole that has been drilled into the stock)

  1. Place the action into the stock, being sure to seat the recoil lug properly.

  2. Tighten both action screws to 38-40 in-lbs in synthetic stocks.

  3. Cycle the bolt several times to be sure that it functions properly.

  4. Verify that all positions of the safety function properly. When the safety is in the full safe position, the trigger should have no movement when pressed.

  5. Reinstall the magazine.

Safe firearm ownership is your responsibility. When something does not sound, feel, or look right, seek the advice of a professional gunsmith immediately.
