The next generation of the Model 110 is here. With a full suite of upgraded features including improved ergonomics, more adjustability, an increased selection of calibers, and more options for customization, there’s never been a better time to check out the 110. There’s a lot that has changed with the new Model 110, and we’re going to break it all down in this blog. Let’s dive into some of the new features across the Model 110 line, the different series of rifles, and the performance improvements you can expect to see.

New Rifle Series

The entire 110 line has been revamped with new models and new series. From the baseline Trophy Series to the top-of-the-line Pro Series, there’s a new 110 option out there for everyone. Let’s go through some of the differences between each of these new series in the new Model 110 line.

Good – Trophy Series

The Trophy Series is the base of the new Model 110 lineup. These rifles are built with all of the standard 110 features of the new line, including threaded barrels, corrosion resistant finishes, one-piece rails, and a Savage exclusive LimbSaver recoil pad. Trophy Series rifles also have the Trophy stock, which includes adjustment for length of pull and has improved ergonomics compared to the previous generation of Model 110 rifles.

Some differences can be found between the Trophy Series models, like AICS magazines and iron sights on the Ridge Hunter, or a BSF carbon fiber barrel on the Carbon Hunter, but these models are more affordable and provide an excellent value of price and features for the average hunter.

Better – Core Series

The Core Series takes things up a notch. Including all of the standard features of the Trophy Series, the Core Series rifles come equipped with the all new AccuFit V2 stock system with adjustment length of pull, comb height, and interchangeable grip modules. Core Series rifles also come with more adjustability and accessory potential, with M-Lok slots present in the forend, threaded bolt handles for bolt knob customization, and integral ARCA rails available on certain models.

Best – Pro Series

The Pro Series is the best of the best in the new Model 110 lineup. These models are dressed in Savage Woodland or Savage Western camo, feature carbon fiber and spiral fluted barrel options, add on 20 MOA rails for improved long-range accuracy, utilize AICS pattern magazines, and come with Omniport muzzle brakes installed from the factory. For the Model 110, it doesn’t get much better than this.

Tactical / Predator Series

Every good craftsman has their specific tool for a specific job. The Tactial / Predator series is bult specifically with stability and accuracy in mind. This series includes the Core TacticalCore Predator, and Ultralite Predator for a good mix of choice in calibers and features. Across the line you’ll find additional M-Lok accessory slots, integral ARCA rails, and AICS magazine compatibility for engaging multiple targets in both hunting and competitive shooting scenarios.

Impulse

Not to be outdone, we’ve also given the Impulse a facelift with new updates and upgrades. Impulse series rifles will also be outfitted with the AccuFit V2 system, along with Cerakote finishes, M-Lok compatibility, and other features found in their comparable 110 models. We’ll continue to offer integral 20 MOA rails machined into the receiver, as well as the ambidextrous bolt handles that allow Impulse to be a functional rifle for both right handers and southpaws. New models in the Impulse lineup include the Core HunterCore PredatorCore Hunter Pro, and the Ultralite Pro.

Harvester

What revamp would be complete without mentioning our beloved slug shotguns? The Model 212 and Model 220 are now the Harvester shotgun. Still built off the same great 110 action, the Harvester shotgun gets a boost with AccuFit V2, M-Lok and ARCA compatibility, and a one-piece rail for attaching scopes and red dot optics. The 20-gauge Harvester will be offered in a left-handed action, and Woodland camo models are also available to keep your Harvester looking sharp.

Custom Fit with AccuFit V2

One of the most noticeable upgrades you’ll find on the new Model 110 rifles is the updated AccuFit V2 system. AccuFit V2 is our easiest, most user-friendly adjustable stock yet. Adjustments can be made in three areas: length of pull, comb height, and grip size with interchangeable grip modules. Here are a few highlights of the new AccuFit V2 stock:

  • Toolless adjustment to length of pull and comb height with the Quick Set Dial (QSD). Simply depress the QSD to adjust the length of pull and turn the QSD counterclockwise to adjust your comb height. Length of pull adjusts from 12.75” to 13.75” in 1/8” increments, and comb height adjusts up to 0.75” in 1/16” increments to help you achieve a custom-level fit in a factory rifle.
  • Grip modules are easy to interchange. Simply use a 5/64” hex wrench to unscrew the grip on the rifle, pull it out, and replace it with a different size grip. Small, medium, and large grips come with the rifle, with the medium size installed from the factory.
  • If your finger dexterity isn’t enough to turn the QSD, you can also use a 9/16” wrench to turn the dial to adjust comb height.
  • Updated ergonomics include palm swells and thumb shelves that are comfortable for both left and right-handed shooters to use, as well as overmolding along the forend for additional purchase when gripping the rifle. The grip angle has been updated to a more vertical grip that is also incredibly comfortable in the hand.

AccuFit V2 provides the best fitting, most comfortable stock yet on the Model 110. It’s built for one thing, accuracy when it counts. With AccuFit V2, a youth hunter or shooter can grow up with their rifle, making the next generation 110 a rifle that truly lasts a lifetime.

Performance Updates

The appearance on the new Model 110 didn’t just get a facelift. We’ve done some work under the hood as well to make these the best performing 110s yet. New bolt updates and an improved magazine are just a couple of the changes we’ve made to help the new Model 110 run smoother and more reliably than ever.

  • Enhanced bolt: The heart of our performance updates is a new bolt that now comes with dual ejectors and a new radius extractor design. What does that mean for you? The dual ejectors don’t just improve ejection strength, but they also improve feeding reliability by increasing contact with the case head. Extraction is also improved, along with feeding reliability from a stronger connection to the rim of the cartridge. With jeweled and Cerakote bolts as well, the new 110 bolt helps the rifle run smoother and more reliable than ever before.

  • Magazine update: The updated polymer magazine helps improve feeding and reliability even further. The high-grade polymer is smoother on contact than metal, allowing for a better feeling bolt as you insert a cartridge into the chamber. The magazine is also designed to work with over 30 different cartridges, making feeding more reliable for every rifle.

New Feature Standards

We’ve heard our fans loud and clear for years. There are certain features that you can’t live without when it comes to your rifles, and we’re delivering those features in the new Model 110 lineup. They’re standard on every Model 110, so you can have the confidence of durability, comfort, and customization no matter which model you buy. Here’s what comes standard on every new 110.

  • Threaded barrels: It’s a common question we’re asked, and we’re proud to say that all Model 110 rifles are now threaded. No more disappointment seeing a rifle with the perfect feature set, except that you can’t add a suppressor or muzzle brake. No matter which 110 you pick, you’ll be able to thread on your favorite muzzle device from here on out.
  • Corrosion resistant finishes: Let’s face it; sometimes we’re not the best at wiping our rifles down after a trip to the field or the range. We get it, and that’s why every new 110 comes with corrosion resistant finishes like Cerakote coatings and stainless-steel finishes. So, no matter what conditions you’re up against, or if you just forgot to wipe down from range day last weekend, your rifle will stay in tip top shape and keep rust at bay.
  • Left-handed actions: Our most popular question we’re asked with every new release, “Does it come in left hand?”. Yes, yes it does. Every new rifle in the Model 110 lineup will come standard with left-handed actions. We see you southpaw shooters, and we’re here to give you the options you deserve.
  • LimbSaver recoil pad: Nobody likes recoil, and the new Model 110 is all about having a better shooting experience. We teamed up with LimbSaver to develop a Savage exclusive recoil pad that comes standard on all Model 110 rifles with the AccuFit V2 and Trophy Series stocks. This new recoil pad is incredibly comfortable and reduces felt recoil by up to 50% compared to our previous recoil pad. So, forget about the flinch, and dial in that accuracy with the new Savage recoil pad from LimbSaver.
