We're always pushing the boundaries of innovation, working to make our rifles more accurate, precise, and comfortable for people to use. One of the keys to this innovation is the Model 110 stock. Since 2018, we've worked to make 110s better, more comfortable, and offer even more options with custom stocks and chassis right from the factory. This guide will cover the variety of different stocks that have been offered on the Model 110 since 2018 and direct you to some resources for each of these rifle models.

General Model 110 Stock Information

No matter which Model 110 stock you have, there are a few things about the rifle you'll want to know if you plan to make aftermarket additions or are maintaining your rifle. Here are a few important articles to note if you're looking at your Model 110 stock.

Pre-AccuFit

The Pre-AccuFit era for "modern" Model 110 stocks reflects most standard rifle stocks. A standard profile with no adjustability, a basic recoil pad, a small amount of texturing on the grip and forend similar to traditional checkering. These stocks were basic and offered no level of custom fit that the Model 110 stock has come to be known for today.

AccuFit V1

The first generation of the Model 110 stock with AccuFit was a revolution for custom fit. The AccuFit system brought factory customization to the masses for length of pull and comb height, with two different stock models available.

Trophy Stock

The first iteration of the trophy stock had length of pull adjustment only, with removable spacers that were screwed into the stock. These stocks only featured length of pull adjustment, with a standard comb that was present on the older model stocks.

AccuFit

The first AccuFit stock gave you the ability to have a personalized fit for more comfort and better accuracy. It included the same spacer adjustment system for length of pull as the Trophy stock but also offered swappable cheek riser pieces to adjust comb height. The AccuFit stock was the first Savage factory stock to offer a true custom fit for users straight out of the box.

Aftermarket / Partner Stocks

Over the years, we've partnered with several different companies for Model 110 stocks. From standard design stocks to chassis stocks, and a few different options in between, here are some of the common partner stocks you'll see on a Model 110.

Traditional Design Stocks

Hogue Overmolded

The Hogue Overmolded stock features a fiberglass base stock covered in rubber overmolded texturing. This makes the stock durable and tacky during inclement weather conditions, giving you better control over the rifle. The Overmolded stock features a traditional stock design and grip. The Hogue Overmolded stock is featured on the 110 Trail Hunter and 110 Trail Hunter Lite models.

Chassis

MDT LSS XL

The Model 110 Precision features an MDT LSS XL (Light Sniper System Extra Long) chassis in an FDE Cerakote. It's a compact, versatile chassis system perfect for general precision shooting. However, it can be optimized for hunting, law enforcement, and military applications. This aluminum chassis has adjustable comb height and length pull for a customized fit and also features a Savage exclusive skeletonized stock.

MDT ACC

The MDT ACC Chassis System (Adjustable Core Competition) was purpose-built to be the best competition chassis on the market today. MDT worked with the best competitive shooters in the world, creating a Chassis that is the ultimate in customization and adaptability. This chassis is featured on the 110 Elite Precision and the 110 RF Elite Precision, and is fully adjustable for length of pull, comb height, and even adding additional weights to help make the rifle more stable.

MDT HNT26

The MDT HNT26 Chassis System was purpose-built to be the best hunting chassis on the market today. At 26 ounces, the HNT26 is incredibly light due to its magnesium alloy and carbon fiber construction. A foam-filled buttstock with spacers allows for an adjustable length-of-pull and an adjustable comb, allowing you to get a personalized fit. The HNT26 chassis is featured on our 110 Ultralite Elite, making it an incredibly light yet durable rifle built specifically for backcountry hunting.

Other Stocks

FBT Carbon Fiber

Built by FBT in Austria, the carbon fiber stock on the 110 KLYM and Impulse KLYM is light, rugged, and ergonomic. It features a thumbhole design with one button, adjustable comb height, and carbon fiber construction on the forend and butt stock. The stock's construction makes KLYM rifles using this stock incredibly light, and perfect for backcountry and mountain hunting.

The Magpul Hunter stock is a rugged, adjustable option featured on rifles like the 110 Magpul Scout, 110 Magpul Hunter, and the 110 RF Magpul. It has removable spacers for length of pull adjustment, and swappable cheek riser pieces for adjusting comb height. It also has M-Lok panels on the forend and an aluminum bedding block for increased stability.

The Trophy stock is found on the new 110 Trail Blazer, 110 Trail Blazer XP, 110 Carbon Hunter, and the 110 Ridge Hunter. This stock looks similar to the new AccuFit V2 stock but has a couple of key differences. First, it only has adjustable length of pull, with no comb height or grip changes. The Quick Set Dial (QSD) on these models is smooth, rather than the serrated dial of the AccuFit V2 stock.
